Approved Academic Admission Courses
UBC, SFU and U of Toronto (starting in 2019) will no longer have an `approved`list of academic courses for admission. They have said that any Grade 12 courses besides Career education, Phys Ed, and Applied Arts and Technology courses will likely be considered as an academic course.

Online Courses that are being Used in your Competitive Admission Average
Academic grade 12 online courses to be used in the calculation of your average for admission should be recorded on your Term 2 marks for post-secondary evaluation. Please submit a mark to your counsellor so it can be issued to the Ministry of Education by the end of February.
At UBC, for the online course to be used in the calculation of your average for admission, students must have 100% of the course completed by February 1.
Non-calculated Admission Online Courses
If you want your online course to be used as part of your admission courses (such as a Physics 11, or a Language 11), but don't need to include it to calculate your admission average, students have until April 30 to complete the academic course for most universities.
